COLOGNE AGAIN

HEAVILY ATTACKED

MANY LARGE FIRES STARTED

PORTS RAIDED ALSO

LONDON, May 19,

Last night for the second night in succession Cologne was heavily attacked by R.A.F. bombers. Many highexplosive and incendiary bombs were dropped and many large fires were left burning in the industrial quarters of the town. Attacks on a smaller scale were made on the docks at Rotterdam and Boulogne and on other objectives in enqmy-occupied territory. French and Dutch harbours were attacked last night by aircraft of the Coastal Command and the Fleet Air Arm. From all these night operations one aircraft of the Bomber Command is missing.

Londoners worshipped as usual in bomb-scarred Westminster Abbey today. A temporary altar had been erected, and the damage screened.
