KING AS TANK DRIVER
RUGBY. May 17
Wearing white overalls over a FieldMarshal's uniform, the King drove a tank for the first time yesterday over a testing ground near a Ministry of Supply factory in Britain. It was one of the newest heavy types, and the King commented on the ease of handling and expressed surprise at the comfort of the ride.—B.O.W.
