SHUNTING FATALITY
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 18,
Jammed between buffers during shunting operations in the New Plymouth railway yards on Friday, -S. J. Biches, Railway Department employee, received injuries from which he died in hospital on Saturday. The deceased, who was 38 years of age, was a married man with two children. (He was recently transferred to New Plymouth from Ngaruawahia.
