Hutt Valley Club.— The run was from Hutt Park the members D^-"tl«r*KuaflS*:of the president, Mr. M." Cough. About 22 runners set off in three nacks to traverse a trail of about six mires. 'In the first pack Rood form was shown by 3. M. Crosbte, L. Mallowes, and 1. Rogers, and in the second pack the best were T Hurly, K. Miles, and R. Robbie. In the third pack, L. Brunitle, the winner of the previous week's handicap, proved too good for X " Taylor, the -young runner who won the novice race. The trail-layers, splitting up into two parties, held a sprint over the last 100 yards, the veteran, E. Petersen, beatinß M. hough, who just beat the handicapper. A. Mack Xext Saturday the Crais Rose Bowl teams race will bo held at Hutt Park, commencing at 3 p.m., wet or fine.
