A CLEAR CUT WIN
Better understanding among the forwards and more experience generally' gave Petone an advantage o^er Air Force in their game at Petone on Saturday. The final score, 4-2, was a fair indication of the respective merits of the team. Air Force had a useful pair of full-backs in Alderman and Clark, and McFarlane in goal was usually safe. The outstanding player In the Petone side was Craig, the left wing, who scored twice with spectacular long shots. Stewart, inside left, worked well with Craig and scored once. Petone's other goal was Leslie's. For Air Force Hopkinson scored twice.
