POINTS FOR SEATOUN

Though Seatoun had a comfortable win over Diamond, scoring 6 goals to their opponents' three, it was not a one-sided game. Play was very evenly divided, and Diamond were on attack for long periods. But the losing forwards almost invariably broke down in front of goal. They had little difficulty in sweeping up to shooting positions, but as little success when they did shoot, for their finishing work was poor.

Seatoun, on the other hand, were extremely dangerous on attack, their swift sorties often carving through the Diamond defence with ridiculous ease. Still, the game was always interesting, and both sides deserve credit for the pace they maintained.

For Seatoun the scorers were B. Yeoman (3), Tanner (2), and Edmunds, and they with Gendall and Fisher were outstanding on their side. Heath, Alexander, and Dv Feu were Diamond's scorers, and they, with Tucker and McKenzie, did well.
