HIT AND RUN
SUSPECTED CASE IN TORY STREET
Thought to be the victim of a hit-and-run motorist, Mr. W. J. Perkins, 66 Rintoul Street, Newtown, was found lying on the roadway in Tory Street shortly after 11.10 o'clock last night, suffering fro.m head injuries. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital, where his injuries were found to be not serious. The police are investigating.
