Senator Wheeler, leader of the isolationists, called on President Roosevelt to propose a negotiated peace in the European war.—U.P.A. (
Mr. F. Lewis, a carrier, of.Normandale, had his left leg fractured and also suffered shock-when he was struck by a fall of rock in Tekanga Road, Nprmandale, this morning. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital.
