Large Reinforcements
(Rec. noon.) SINGAPORE, May 15. It is officially announced that large numbers of troops from Britain have arrived, consisting: oi' Army, Air Force, and Naval reinforcements. The Army units, which comprise the bulk of the forces, included all arms of the service. — U.P.A.

The correspondent of the Domei agency on the Honan front s#ys that, as the culmination of long enmity, Chinese Communist troops suddenly attacked the Chungking central fortieth army in the vicinity of Linhsien on the Honan-Shansi boi'der.
