NEW YORK, May 1
Pan-American Airways announced that the Civil Aeronautic Authority has approved an extension of the trans-PaciSc service from Manila to Singapore, beginning tomorrow, thus directly linking San Francisco and Singapore for the first time in history,and also bringing 4 the British naval base nearer to the United States. — U.P.A.
