GALA TROTS AT HUTT PARK.
The Hutt Valley Victory Queen carnival committee is staging on Saturday next what promises to be the biggest effort yet made in the Hutt Valley for patriotic funds. By courtesy of the Wellington Owners'. Breeders', and Trainers' Association a matinee trotting meeting will be held at the Hutt Park. The grounds will be open at 10.30 a.m. and the programme will include a draught horse race, whippet races, sweepstakes, raffles, and ladies' races. Sideshows will be in operation and afternoon tea will be procurable. The first trotting race will be at. 1.30 p.m. There will be an admission charge of Is and the whole of the proceeds will be devoted to the Hutt Valley Queen fund. i
