OBITUARY
MR. NOEL J. WINDSOR
The esteem in which Mr. Noel John Windsor was held was evident from, the large gathering at his funeral. Mr. Windsor, who was 32 years of age and a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Windsor, had taken an active part in football in Wellington, and was closely associated with the Poneke Football Club, for which he did much valuable administrative and organising work, apart from his conspicuous service as a young player. When at Wellington College he was a prefect and he also took a high place on the field of sport (in cricket as well as in football). He gained lower grade representative honurs in Wellington Rugby, and did well as a cricketer for the James Smith's Club. He was engaged in the wool industry, and made a business trip to Great Britain, the Continent, and America a few years ago.
