STATE THEATRE.
Adventure and romance are the keynote of "The Lone Wolf Keeps a Date," now showing at the State Theatre. Warren William plays the part of the suave adventurer who this time is roaming Florida's fashionable beaches. At Miami he becomes involved in a plot to kidnap a millionaire. A beautiful girl, a part played by Frances Robinson, has the ransom money, and the Lone Wolf, always ready to help a beautiful damsel, in distress, puts all his energies into the hunt for the kidnappers, and thereby is provided excitement and thrill in plenty. The associated feature, "Girls Under 21," is the story of a schoolmaster in a gangster area who believes that there is good in all humanity. Some of his charges seem to be heading directly towards the reformatory, but by moral suasion he wins the day.
