A sentence of six months" imprisonment was imposed by Mi*. J. H. Luxford. S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today upon William Henry Gardiner, aged 60. a labourer, for stealing from Amelia Cole a handbag and ;ontents valued at £6 18s. He pleaded not guilty.
