TRANSPORT INDUSTRY
WAR CO-ORDINATION
(Kntisli Otlicial Wireloss.) \ RUGBY. April 5. The forging of Britain's many-sided transport industry into a single great instrument of total war -.will result from the immediate setting up of a war transport council under the Transport Minister (Lieut.-Colonel MooreBrabazon).
The Minister's new important step will co-ordinate all sections of the transport industry from the strategic point of view, and the council will
stand to the transport industry in much
the same way as the Board of the' Admiralty and the Army and Air Councils stand to the fighting forces.
Behind the Minister and the council i slands a specialised army of employees,' more than a million and a half strong, already experienced in war.
