HARRIERS
The Scottish harriers held their opening run at Island Bay over a five-mile course, 30 runners taking part. Mr. \V. Ballantyne (president) declared the season open and afternoon tea was provided by the club's handicapper, Mr. W. Holley. The run-in resulted: H. Cardiff (Brooklyn). H. Wenman 2, ' N. Wilkinson 3.
