(Received March 1, 1.15 p.m.) CHICAGO, February 28. Traffic accidents in the United States in January took 2760 lives, 9 per cent, above January, 1940. Rural fatal accidents increased % by 14 pex cent., compared with 2 per ■ cent, in the cities.
