VICTORY IN AFRICA
COMMANDER'S CONFIDENCE
(Received March 1/1.45 p.m.) LONDON, February 28. A message from Rome states that* the supreme commander of the Italian forces in North Africa reviewed welcome detachments of Germans. The commander of the German units expressed his certainty of victory in North Africa, and said: "We have taken an oath to make a last effort to secure victory for the Axis."
