TIMARU WOOL APPRAISAL.
Today was prompt date for the wool appraisement held at Timaru on January 25, when 18,116 bales were appraised. The proceeds amounted to £317,275 11s 2d, which gave an average of 12.61 d a lb, or £17 10s 3d a bale. Three bales of merino forward on •behalf of Mr. J. E. Cameron, Ben Ohau Station, realised 21|d, six bales 21d, and seven bales 20d.
