CALL FOR MEN.
Up to'the present a large number of men in New Zealand have, for various reasons, been unable to find a place in the country's war effort. The Emergency Precautions Scheme has now opened up a way for them to give valuable and practical service at a time when every worthy citizen is striving to help. The men's detachments of the Red Cross Society are urgently in need of men to take the places of the members now serving with the forces. C 3 or men over military age can play a big part in this work by joining up. Officers are on duty in the evenings at headquarters, Dixjon Street, to receive new members.
