NEXT WEEK'S HIGH LIGHT
Miss Bates's "ball for all" on February 22 in the Town Hall, which is to benefit the cause of the Fighting Services queen in the Victory Queen Carnival, has been organised in detail. Apart from elaborate decorative and supper arrangements, a large committee of ballroom hostesses, comprising representatives from most of the servicemen's hospitality clubs in Wellington, has been set up to see that girls and men without partners also enjoy themselves. . ■ ■, Tickets are on sale at the D.I.C. Mr. Len. Morris, of the R.S.A., is helping Miss Bates in her arrangements, a feature of which will be the I attendance of no less than two dance bands, Geoffrey Farrell's and the Fort. Dorset.
