In the Wellington Mercantile Cricket League's A grade competition the lead is held by Working Men's Club. Championship points are: Wellington Working Men's Club 30, Amalgamated Bricks 27, Hannah's 23, Justice Department 23, Woolworths 16, James Smith's 14, Customs Agents 12; Harbour Board 11, Taxes Department (withdrawn) 8, Smith and Smith 7.
