A wave of nervousness dominated operations on the Stock Exchange today, due to the Government's pronouncement yesterday on .the international situation. Prices generally were depressed.
Quotations were:—Colonial Sugar. £47 10s; Henry Jones, £2 4s 9d; Woolworths, 16s 7d; Adams, 15s; Mercantile Mutual Insurance, £1 8s 6d; Howard Smith, £1 Is; Wilcox Mofflin, 7s; Mount Lyell, £1 6s 3d; Loloma, £1 2s; Kuala Kampar, 15s lOd; Emperor, 10s 6d.
MELBOURNE, February 14,
Bank of Australia, £8 15s; Associated News, 13s 3d; Coles (pref.)', £1. 12s; Kauri Timber, £1 2s; Loloma, £1 3s 6d; Myers, £1 12s; Electrolytic Zinc (pref.), £2 11s.
