U.S. BASES IN SAMOA

WASHINGTON, February 14.
The House Naval Committee has decided to call Admiral Stark, Chief of Navy Operations, to testify in secret on the navy's request for 8,000,000 dollars for air bases in Samoa.
The proposed authorisation includes facilities for several hundred men, bomb-proof power plants, shelters, hangars, fuel storage, and other naval facilities.
