AUSTRALIA'S EFFORT
COULD EQUIP AN ARMY
A.I.F. WILL FIGHT ANYWHERE
LONDON, February 14,
Mr. Menzies, the Australian Prime' Minister, who has been touring the battlefields of the. Middle East, said today that Australia was redoubling her efforts and industry was developing : to the point where Australia, by herself, could supply a full army with all its equipment.
He reaffirmed Australia's appreciation of the importance of help from the United States and said that by giving military aid to the Australian Army in the field the United States had already joined in the struggle for the principles in which both countries believed.
The Australian Imperial .Forces, after clearing up Cyrenaica, were ready to continue the fight on any front.
