Rumanian Oil Areas
EARLY RAF. RAIDS FEARED
(By Telegraph—Tress Association.) (Received February 14, noon.) LONDON, February 13. The Bucharest correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says that the Rumanian Government has advised civilians to evacuate Ploesti, Constanza, Giurgiu, and other oilfields and oil-port areas. Official circles said that early bombing of these areas by the B.A.F. is feared. Many families are moving out from Bucharest to the provinces. The black-out has been rigorously tightened up, and even covers the lighting of cigarettes and matches in the streets.
There is great activity also at the Craiova, Turnu Severeinu, and Ploesti airports, all of which are manned by Germans.
More troop transports are reported to be flying over Hungary towards the south-east.
It is learned from Belgrade that the Yugoslav Premier and Foreign Minister have gone to Berlin at the invitation of the German Government, it is 'believed for discussion of,the present Balkan situation, and particularly Yugoslav adherence to the tripartite pact.
