SOLDIER WRITES TO PARENTS

HASTINGS, February 6,

When a German bomb scored a direct hit on a base hospital in England, Sergeant T, T. H. Pryce received injuries from which he is making a good recovery, according to advice which his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Pryce, Hastings, have received. In his letter Sergeant Pryce said that three other soldiers were killed. He had been in hospital for some weeks but expected to be discharged in a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. Pryce have five sons serving in the armed forces, four of them overseas. Two are in England, one is in Egypt, one is training under the Empire air scheme in Canada, and another is stationed in Wellington.
