N.S.W. ECONOMY PLAN

(Received February 7, 1.40 p.m.)

SYDNEY, This Day

The New South Wales Government has decided to introduce legislation which will require petrol distributors to mix benzol, or power alcohol, with petrol in order to reduce imports of fuel supplies.. It is estimated that production of benzol and power alcohol in Australia could be raised to 8,000,000 gallons a year. Compulsory mixing of benzol and power alcohol with petrol has been operated successfully in Queensland for 10 years.
