IDLE FRENCH SHIPS
RESTORATION TO SERVICE
• (Received February 6, 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, February 5. The Washington correspondent of the "New York Journal of Commerce" states that the British have approved the utilisation of thirteen French ships, totalling 39,000 tons, tied up in American ports, on normal trade routes, under restrictions designed to prevent their assisting the Axis Powers.
