The London Diamond Club has just been inaugurated as a place of business for refugees, and will be run on lines similar to the Antwerp and Amsterdam exchanges.
Among those who attended the opening yesterday were a hundred or more merchants and bankers speaking half a dozen languages. Millions of pounds' worth of business was represented.
