STOCKS FOR GAS
Inquiries made by the "Evening Post" today brought from the Wellington Gas Company the reply that present stocks of coal were very much lower than usual but that everything possible was being done to build up the stock.
On behalf of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Board it was stated that the board had ample stocks, which it hoped to be able to maintain.
