ATHLETICS
The annual athletic gathering between the Wanganui and the Wellington Clubs will be held at Hataitai Park next Saturday in conjunction with the Wellington Centre's handicap fixture. The war has made considerable inroads in the personnel of both clubs, but each has still some excellent athletes in action. The principal events will be the 100 and 440 yards contests for the Saunders Memorial Medal and the mile medley relay for the Bramwell. Memorial Cup.
