LONDON, February 4
"Much greater personal effort and sacrifice will be required from all classes in Britain before victory can be won," declared the Undersecretary for Air, Captain Balfour, in a speech.
"Some people." he said, "are drawing more money than in peacetime, A section of the people has scarcely felt the war. These people will have to give up mox'e and the rich will have to do with much less."
