THE NAZIS PREPARE
Details of how Germans are using their occupation of Bohemia-Moravia to carry out certain activities they wish to hide from their own people and of other happenings in the protectorate reach here from time to time, says an Istanbul message to the "New York Times." In the State printing works in Prague, said a recent report, the Germans have had large quantities of undated posters printed in the German language proclaiming martial law in Berlin. At the same time other posters have been printed in Prague, also in German, calling upon all persons and all formations not directly subordinated to the army to register any arms in their; possession. The printing of these posters is said to be closely connected with the growing coolness between the Reich Army and the Nazi Party formations, the Storm Troopers and the Elite Guard. The two latter, it is said, no longer greet or are greeted by army men, whose devotion to Hitler and Reich Marshal Hermann Goering does not prevent them from asserting their dislike for Heinrich Himmler, chief of all German police, and his associates at every oppor|unity.
