Una Hill Mine, Thames, reports: During week ended January 24 good pro gress. made with work on specimen reef, from which a further 151b of picked stone secured. Quartz showing in back of rise south, which was advanced, to 14ft. Crushing started on 20th with genera] dirt only. Values so far appear to be over £10 per ton. Further general dirt and 561b of picked stone will be treated this week. Bulolo Gold Dredge reports for December total gross production 18,2400z of bullion, containing, 12,5860z of fine gold from 1,698,000 cubic yards. Estimated working profit 6942oz:fine gold. Grey River TDredging. return for the week ended January 29 was 359i0z from 69,564 cubic yards worked in 113 hours. Argo, Gold Dredging return for the week ending January 25 was 440z for 127 hours and 13,000 yards. Kanieri Gold Dredging Co. has declared a fburth dividend of Is per share on ordinary and deferred shares, payable February 15. Golden Dawn Mine reports for week ending January 25:—No. 3 level, No. 1 winze on No. 5 reef sunk 3ft; total. 139 ft. Reef on hangingwall averages 30in and is very hard.
