ART UNION DATE EXTENDED.
The closing date of the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Council art union for a £2500 house and garage has been extended to April 30 and the drawing is tb take place on May 31. The second prize in the art union is a section valued at £125 at Paekakariki and there is a third prize of £50 worth of groceries. Tickets, cost Is and may be obtained at'all post offices in the Wellington Metropolitan area and from authorised ticket sellers throughout the Wellington provincial patriotic zones. All money paid in up to February 10 will go to the general provincial patriotic fund. After that date, in the Wellington City area, all money paid in from the sale of tickets will be credited to "the Public Services' Queen (Miss Joan Young) in the patriotic queen carnival contest; in the Hutt Valley area it will be credited to the Hutt Valley Queen (Mrs. E. T. W. Love); and in the rest of the Wellington Province all proceeds will go to the general provincial patriotic fund as hitherto.
