The Thames Jockey Club's Annual Meeting was opened today in fine weather, and with a large attendance. Results:—

Maramarua Hurdles, £150; 1 mile and 5 furlongs.—4-5 Rarotonga, 10.6 (Chatlin), 1; .3-4 Inver. 9.9, 2; .1-I,Gay. Seton, 9.3, 3. Scr.: Royal Jay. Head; neck. Time, 2min 58 l-ssee.
