COST TO AUSTRALIA
CHILD ENDOWMENT SCHEME

It is estimated that the Federal Government's child endowment scheme will cost between £9,000,000 and £10,000,000 a year.
New South Wales taxpayers will benefit from the scheme as it is proposed to reduce State taxation by £1,470,000 —the amount spent on child endowment last year—when the Federal scheme comes into operation.
