MELBOURNE, This Day,
With the release of ths third casualty list for the battle of Bardia the military authorities announced that the total A.I.F. battle casualties would be greater than was expected recently.
The Minister of the Army, Mr. Spender, said that advice from the Middle East confirmed the original estimate that the Australian casualties at Bardia were approximately 500.
