LONDON, January 10.
The "Daily Telegraph" states that no application has been made in London or Buenos Aires for navicerts for five French merchantmen bound from the River Plate to Marseilles, carrying Argentine and Uruguayan hides, wools, foodstuffs, and mails. British naval patrols are expected to intercept the ships and declare the cargoes a war prize. The ships are believed to have I been sailing under German pressure.
