ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND
SOME TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

Thirty men, women, and children, victims of the Nazi raiders which sank several, arrived by the Mariposa from Sydney today. Most of them appeared to have recovered from their ordeal, but here and there were signs of suffering. Some of the survivors were taken to hospital. Before leaving the Mariposa the raider victims were r interviewed by various officials,: including detectives. Lengthy statements were taken. Later they were entertained, by the Mayor (,Sir Ernest Davis), at lunch at the 3/STaverley Hotel.
