A SUMMER SCHOOL

CATHOLIC CHURCH MUSIC

A summer school of Catholic Church music, organised by the Catholic Church Music Commission in .the Arch., diocese of Wellington, will begin at St. Patrick's College, Cambridge Terrace, Wellington, tomorrow, and will run for four days. Lectures will be given daily at 10 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. The lecturers will be the Very Rev. Dr. Rasmussen, of Greenmeadow's

Seminary, Hawke's Bay; Father A. Loughnan, -of St.. Joseph's Cathedral, Dunedin; and Mr. Foster Browne, of Christchurch Cathedral.

Evening lectures will be given tomorrow and on Thursday, to start at 8 o'clock. Father Loughnan and Mr. Foster Browne will be the speakers. All persons who ■', are interested in church music are.invited.to attend any of the sessions, and.a special invitation is extended to members of • church choirs.

The Catholic Church Music Commission, which is sponsoring the summer school,, operates under the chairmanship of Father F. L. Dignan.
