<Britlsb Official Wireless, j (Received January 11, 10 a.m.)
RUGBY, January 10.
Beyond the Burma Road in the Szechwan Province, British hydraulic engineers are busily at work on two of China's vast new electrical undertakings. Throughout the 'bombing of the road Britain has been sending continuous supplies of machinery to China whose water supply is one of the most abundant in the world.
It is significant that in a time of war, Britain is sending hydraulic machinery to China, to Eire for the harnessing of the swiftly-moving waters of the Liffey River, and to Canada, New Zealand, Tanganyika, Mauritius, and Turkey.
