THE RANGATIRA
ARRIVAL AT DUNEDIN
(By relejrraph— I't-pw Association.)
DUNEDIN, December 30.
The steamer Rangatira, which ran aground in Pigeon Bay on Sunday morning, arrived at Dunedin at 10.10 p.m. The trip down the coast was made in fine weather and without incident, though it was found necessary to keep the pumps working continuously. She will go into dock on Wednesday for a survey, after which the repairs will be undertaken.
Before the ship left Lyttelton this morning a hole in the hull was concreted as a temporary measure.
