THE NEW BUILDINGS
A START AT ONCE
PLANS AND MATERIAL
READY
Both plans and materials are now ready for the construction of new .stores in New Zealand for refrigerated cargo which may, .have to be held here owing to delays in shipments overseas. The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) announced on Sunday that the Government had decided to provide increased storage space. Today the Minister of .Marketing (Mr. Nash) informed "The Post" that, the . possible necessity for extra space had been realised some months ago. The whole question had been investigated, and, as a result of conferences with interested parties, preparations had been made, for the erection of. ..additional storage space. , The material for the buildings had been secured, and the work would be pushed- ahead at once.
