RESIDENCE DESTROYED

HASTINGS, December 29,
Fire completely destroyed the home of Mr. Robert Tapper, Havelock North. organiser of the National Party in the district, early yesterday morning.
The Havelock North Volunteer Fire Brigade received the call at about 4 a.m., but was unable to do anything to save the building, which was outside the town district area, and there was no water supply.
