HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS
Holiday attractions will not be lacking on New Year's Day^
The Wairarapa Racing Club's Jubilee Meeting will be held at Tauherenikau.
The Christmas and New Year Carnival at Evans Bay will be an attraction for family parties.
The junior cricket match for the Brabin Shield, Wellington v. Canterbury, will" be played at the Basin Reserve.
The Eastbourne Ferry Company's Cobar will make trips to the eastern bays at 8 a.m. and 10.30 a.m..
The Wellington Bowling Centre's pairs tournament commences on New year's Day.
For golfers there is the Miramar Club's New Year tourney, for which good entries have been received.
