RECORD U.S. WHEAT CROP EXPECTED
WASHINGTON, December 28.
The Agriculture Department forecasts a record 1941 American wheat supply of 1,230,000,000 bushels, providing a surplus of 500,000,000 bushels. Supplies for the 1940 crop are estimated at 1,100,000,000 bushels. The 1941 figure is made up of a crop of 830,000,000 bushels, plus a carry-over of 400,000,000 bushels.
