PERSONAL NOTES

Mrs. T. E. Y. Seddon, Wadestowni Wellington, is spending a week with Mrs. Peter Wood, Papanui. Mr. Seddon, who accompanied her to Christchurch, left later for South Westland. \

Mr. and Mrs. Gibson Stott, Hobson Street, are spending the holidays at Raumati Beach.

Mrs. M. Schroder and Miss A. Schroder are Waipukurau visitors to Wellington, and are the guests of Mrs. M. Mabih, Karahaka Bay.

Miss Marie Preshaw, Island Bay; will leave this week to spend the summer holidays visiting friends in the Manawatu, Hangitikei, and Hawke's Bay.

Mrs. S.-M. Satterthwaite and Miss Marie Satterthwaite, Wellington, are staying with Mrs. T, W. Satterthwaite, Timaru.

Mrs. Henderson, Johnsonville, and Miss Henderson, Hataitai, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jordan, Christchurch, whose golden wedding will be celebrated tomorrow.

Dr. and Mrs. T. Maling and family, and Dr. and Mrs. E. Giesen and their small daughter, Hawke's Bay, spent Christmas with Mrs. Giesen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Ormond, of Wallingford.

Mrs. Coyle is a Wellington visitor to Waverley.

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Cummings, Wellington, who are spending a holiday in Dunedin, will return north next week.

Mrs. T. Stabler and her daughter Barbara are Waipukurau visitors to Wellington. They will, later visit Blenheim.

Miss Marion Stow, Lo-wer Hutt, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Stow, Halswell, is now spending a holiday at Marlborough Sounds.

Miss Edith Hind has left Wellington for Rotorua.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Chadwick, Island Bay, are visiting Dunedin.

Mr. and Mrs, C. P. Brockelbank, of Petone, accompanied by their daughter, Miss Jean Brockelbank, and niece, Miss Mavis Mcllraith, also of Petone, are spending the holidays with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Brunton, Hastings.

Mrs.. T. Double, Wellington, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. V. Nowell, "The Lakes," Waverley.
