DUNEDIN CONCLUDES

NOT OUT'S SMART MILE

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

DUNEDIN, December 28. The Dunedin Jockey Club's Summer Meeting concluded in fine weather, and attracted a large attendance. The totalisator handled £20,482, compared with £22,082 10s for the second day last year, making the total for the meeting £52,069. Last year the meeting extended over three days. No action was taken after a further inquiry into Hearth's running on the first day, but strong disapproval was expressed in connection with the matter, though the evidence did not warrant anything beyond the nature of a warning.
